Synopsis of The World is Full of Married Men
Sex, lies, infidelity and consequences…
David Cooper cheats on his wife Linda. She doesn’t cheat — and that suits him fine. All their friends seem to accept it too.
But when Linda strikes up her own affair (with a rock star no less!), David is livid, threatens to divorce her, and runs to his beautiful mistress Claudia, announcing that he will marry her instead. But Claudia laughs in his face and tells him “No thank you, marriage is not for me, I just enjoy sleeping with married men.”
And so the double standard turns…
THE WORLD IS FULL OF MARRIED MEN is a devastating exposure of the cutthroat media business — the phony promises and the very real power of the casting couch.

About Jackie
There have been many imitators, but only ever one Jackie Collins! The iconic author has been called a “raunchy moralist” by the late director Louis Malle and “Hollywood’s own Marcel Proust” by Vanity Fair magazine. With over half a billion copies of her books sold in more than forty countries, and with thirty one New York Times bestsellers to her credit,...

HI Jackie,
Believe it or not I’ve read this Novel in 2008. It was OK not bad.
Hi Jackie
This was the very first book I read of yours, and I cannot believe it was nearly 30 years ago!! OMG! Was it really that long??!!
I have read every single one of your books at least three times and am always eager for the next one! Keep Them coming girlie! 🙂
Hugs and much love x
After reading Hollywood Wives, I confess, I had to read another one of Jackie’s novels. So I thought why not go back to the beginning. I can see why this novel was considered to be “shocking” and “scandalous” at the time of its release. By today’s standards, the novel is quiet tame, but still a very worthy read. The storyline itself is interesting and draws the reader along very nicely. Let’s face it, Claudia Parker was quiet a piece of work. I would encourage all of Jackie’s fans who have not read this novel to do so. It is always interesting to follow an author’s development, and this novel did begin the legend the world knows as the inimitable Jackie Collins.
Hi, I just finished reading this story and I was wondering is there a second part to this? Do we find out what happens with David and Harriet?
There are so many unanswered questions? Please say there is a second book
