Lennie, her ex-movie star husband, is still writing and directing successful independent movies, while Max, her stubborn and gorgeous teenage daughter is about to celebrate her 18th birthday, and her son, Bobby, owns a string of hot clubs. Lucky has everything. Family. Love. Life.
And everything is exactly what billionaire businessman Armand Jordan is determined to take from her one way or the other.
Born a Prince in the small but affluent Middle Eastern country of Akramshar, Armand comes to America with his American mother at an early age, and rises to become a real estate business titan. Armand regards women as nothing more than breeding mares or sexual playthings, so when his people inform him that the one property he covets more than anything, The Keys, is not for sale, he is shocked. I just got my notice that “Goddess of Vengeance” has shipped from Amazon and I can’t WAIT for it to arrive. I picked up one of Jackie’s books at a thrift store this summer and got HOOKED. As a substitute teacher, I read a lot of young fiction books to help students find literature that excites them so how fun for me to find an author that captivates me!
I have been stuck in the sub pool seven years and desperately need a full time job to feed my kids and sometimes looking forward to my evening with Lucky, or any of the fantastic characters is all that I have to look forward to.

What I think is that these last few books are more adventurous and the writing style has slightly changed for the better. When I read poor little bitch girl I couldnt put the book down all night. It was that good.

I have all of Ms. Jackie’s books from way back 1969 through current. I simply love all of her books, and I never wait until paperback. I always rush for the hardcovers…..Lucky Santangelo is my favorite.

Waiting for the new book Goddess of Vengeance is soooo hard…can’t wait till it’s released…..a bit confused about something…I have preordered it as the release date was April 26, 2011, then get an email from the bookseller I ordered it from saying the release date is now December 1, 2011….just checked Barnes and Noble online and it says the release date is September 13, 2011…can anyone explain this to me??

Just finished reading GOV.It was so great! I have read all of Jackie’s books,but the “Lucky ” series is by far my favorite. Lucky Santangelo a woman after my own heart. I see myself as a woman who is quite a lot like Lucky. I too have her guts, her fearlessness, and her zest for life. She was a wild one in her younger days and so was I. Even though she now has grown kids…she still doesn’t take anyone’s crap! She finally found her “soul mate” in Lenny. That is one thing I cannot parallel. I still haven’t given up though because like Lucky I am relentless, and goal oriented, so one day it will happen. Jackie keep on entertaining us…all night and all day.
I need the new book to catch up. I love Lucky. And I so love Jackie’s books keep them comming 🙂
Just finished GOV and it was great. I love the Lucky series and have been reading Jackie Collins books since I was 13…I am 38 now. I dont want to give any thing about the book away, but must say I hope there is atleast one more Lucky book to pass the tourch to Max. I can’t wait for Max to be filled in on the “family history” and start living by the Santangelo motto. As well as Bobby, there is so much story left to tell with these two and heck Lucky is still young…..anything is possible.
I have read every book published by Jackie Collins and this is just another one added to the library I have. Another great book that couldn’t be put down until completed. I can’t wait for her next one. Keep them coming Ms. Collins.
I just read Goddess of Vengeance…the story of Lucky, her life and family get better and better with every book…this book is just over 500 pages but I could have read 2,000 pages….I hope you continue the story of Lucky, Lennie and their family.I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their story..my subway ride to work goes too quick when I am engrossed with any Lucky book…I hope another one is in the works 🙂
